4-STEP PROCESS
We've streamlined the instructions into 4 easy-to-follow steps:

STEP 1 - Fill out your school's Schedule Change form
Every high school has its own Schedule Change Request Form, so read the instructions carefully and fill in each blank on the form.
In the section labeled "Reason for requesting this change," write, "Opting out of Ethnic Studies in 9th grade"

STEP 2 - Rank your elective choices
Read the list of other courses you can take in 9th grade instead of Ethnic Studies and identify your top 3-5 choices. Ask a Counselor any questions you have.
Follow the instructions on the form, ranking your top choices as 1st choice, 2nd choice, etc. Write these clearly on the form in the space provided.

STEP 3 - Take a picture of your form & save it 📸
Help us help you & avoid problems!
Once you've finished filling out your form, TAKE A PICTURE and save it before you turn in the form – just in case!
A big part of #adulting is learning to keep track of important information you might need later. Think of this as practice.
